Alyson is still in ICU with the goal of going to step-down today. Her diaphragm is very

weak from the location of the injury. Praying that it starts getting stronger so she can

breath better and start to eat. Did OT/PT this morning. She acknowledges that this is

going to be a hard and long road to recovery. I am working with the hospital on finding a

certified spinal rehab facility. There is a good chance she won’t be back to Nashville for

another month. I am trying to get her as close as I can to make weekend visits more

convenient for family and friends, but we are at the mercy of availability.
