October 20th, 2021, pt. 1.

Today is Alyson's last full day at Broward Health Medical Center. 😆 She maneuvered into

a wheelchair with assistance from PT, and got to make another trip outside to the

Healing Garden. It's amazing how many lizards are out there. She has more movement

of her neck so I snapped a pic of the incision on the back of her neck. She's got 2 pretty

long battle scars! She can also partially lift her left leg, versus just rolling it around.

OT came in this afternoon and had Alyson standup twice. She said it felt weird. After

such a big day she’s taking a much deserved nap. 😴

Alyson is very excited for the next stage of recovery! The air ambulance arrives at

7:30am and we are supposed to take off at 9:00am.
