Great news this morning! Alyson’s lungs are continuing to clear up. We need to give it a

few more days, but she’s moving in the right direction. She will be leaving the Trauma

ICU and going to RCU (Respiratory) this afternoon. Still no flowers allowed. 🙁

When they moved her from the bed to the chair, she made a controlled rotation of her

left leg a few times and surprised everyone. 🥳🎉. During OT she was pushing down on her

foot while the therapist was flexing her foot and it caused her left foot to pulse while she

was doing it. 🎉🥳 Her right hand needs some extra therapy so they are trying to send the

hand specialist tomorrow. She’s a lefty for now.

Speech therapist cleared her again for liquids. Trying room temperature drinks instead of

cold which seems to trigger a slight cough, and very limited on how much. She did get

1/2 of her Apple juice down before she started coughing.

No word on rehab facilities yet today.
