The weekend was spent getting used to this new routine, shopping for some supplies,

and relaxing… well Alyson did anyway. 😁. We still have furniture to move to get our

house in order, but some laundry and some unpacking has been accomplished. Alyson is

glad to be back in Nashville, but is having to adjust to not being able to drive around and

hang out with her friends.

Yesterday Elizabeth and her friend Rachel came by for a few hours before their flight

back home. They got to hang out, watch the Titans game and eat some football tailgate

party food.

Today Jessica graciously took Alyson to get some much needed wheelchair adjustments

done, a doctors appointment and the store. After a nap Alyson is ready for Ji to come

visit and hopefully get some things set up in her new bedroom / the office.

My women’s small group leader and friend Toni came by with a homemade meal tonight, which is so appreciated after eating dinner out for 7 weeks. Nancy from the same group gave Alyson a KFC gift card, which you know will be used shortly.

Alyson did some hand exercises today. Hoping to get to the YMCA for some leg exercises

tomorrow.

Alyson, I am praying for you my dear! That the Lord will restore your health! You have a

road ahead of you. With God on your side you will make strides. Keep your focus on Him

and He will get you there. We don’t understand everything this side of heaven, but one

day it will all be clear to us. Until then my dear, keep the faith! He is there with you at all
