Today Alyson was fitted for her loaner wheelchair, but they need to make modifications

because of her long legs. Her seats about 3 inches too low. 🤔

This was final assessment day for her therapies. In PT she practiced standing w/a walker.

They did another Asia exam, which they did when she first got here and she had scored

a D, but we will not know the results until tomorrow. This is the test where the D is a

good score and the A is a bad score. During this test Alyson was able to move her right

leg to the side and point her foot down. She’s not sure how she was able to do this

except she “tried really hard.” I told her to keep trying really hard. 🤣 In OT they tested

her dexterity and hand strength which has improved a good amount. In Speech

(diaphragm, vocal cords) she has also improved in strength.

We packed up Alyson’s rehab room and our hotel room to take everything home since

Jerry drives home tomorrow with JoJo. We’ll be taking a lot of medical equipment and a

few days of clothes with us on the plane Friday afternoon. The end is very near!

1 more day of therapy!!

Will you please message me with a good address once she’s settled again. We want to

send something - but Jack said to wait until she’s more settled so she doesn’t have as

much to move. XOXO!! So glad
